Ok, another psychological hot potato, this one. Basically, if proven, a lot of good lawyers could get a lot of dangerous people released from prison, which is why it has not yet become a 'mainstream' concept.

Whenever you do anything - ANYTHING! - your concious self has not used free will at all to make that decision.

Actually, your subconcious has decided to do it.

You can then, if you wish and are not a psycho, execute FREE WON'T.

How many times did you realy have no reason to reach over there? Failed free won't execution.

Ever hit someone? Shouted?.........

This is the same arguement my kids have used for years! They seem to think it will fly, one happens to be studing law.

AND, one other thing!!  I DO SO We TOO most definately HAVE FREE WILL!!


ME, Myself and I are FREE TO DO WHATEVER WE WISH WITH OUR MINDS!


We do so too have free will. We exercise it EVERY TIME WE ARE TOLD TO DO SO.


Some, by the voices coming from the neighbor's dog !

And besides--I'll bet YOUR free will was Hogg-Tied by telephone cords, garden hoses and fan belts long before this Analysis101 course date--get a new cause. Lou, I don't believe JSpeer was being cocky that time. Dianetics is actually based on the reactive mind (or subconscious). It is a method to rid yourself of the source of your problems, stress and unhappiness. It's actually very interesting.

Lou, You need to read more normal books, instead of your glow in the dark books. All kidding aside, I have a good Dianetics DVD I can loan you. If you want it I'll drop it off a WLVL. It's a 45 minute video that is very informative. After you watch it you'll want to read the book.

Has anyone else read it? I think everyone should read it. My friend read it and now he's a famous actor. You might know him, John Travolta?

do not be hood winked / scammed / ripped off / conned / or choose your own word by the dianetics thing .   it is nothing but an elaborate pyramid scheme designed to seperate yourself from your money . 


   you always have a choice - unless / until you break the law and get caught ...   even then although the choices become limited , it is the reason you are here -    choose wisely .

Good that we have others to wade through js' babble. I had to back of for fear of a lightening strike, I'll never call someone a saint again without a background check.
