President Bush Expected To Make A Stop In Rochester President George W. Bush is expected to be in the Rochester area on Tuesday. WHAM News is getting reports the President may visit the Greece Athena Performing Arts Center to talk about social security. The Greece facility is a location that's possibly being considered because it opened just two weeks ago, it seats 1,600 people, and has state of the art sound and lighting. 13 WHAM News is reporting that local churches have been asking its members, ages 29 and younger, if they would be interested in attending a visit by the President to talk about social security. The White House will not confirm any details right now, saying that they don't release the President's weekly schedule until Friday.

You can bet your nest egg that there won't be any real questions from the audience. The only time he condescends to speak with the public is to field pre-rehersed questions from approved sources. He's just going to show up, tell us how (he thinks) it is, and leave. Why bother wasting the jet fuel?

anyone know how much it costs to fuel, maintain & fly that jet from city to city? a normal 747 carries about 50,000 gallons of fuel. multiply that by 60 cities... glad i'm paying for this
