Here's the gist ... the city of Lockport no longer has an all-night Taxi service, meaning when I go to the Ski Lodge and get plastered, depending on how long I stay out (it's usually late) I have to call my wife to pick me up (bad idea) hope there's a sober person to drive me home (unlikely) walk home (not smart) or drive drunk (deadly).
What do we do about this? I'm not a fan of the US&J's plan to have an "official taxi service," but I'm also not pleased that the council won't push the envelope to require 24-hour status. What are your thoughts?
Are you trying to say that wives would not be sympathetic? Good call. Not having an all night taxi service is not a good thing. I'm not sure I would want to call the US&J, what if they start a bar call listing in the paper like the police reports? Wouldn't want a write up like that couple on Hinman rd got. No, drunk people and newspapers are not a good mix.

Why did the 24 hr taxi co. go out of business? If they were the only after midnight taxi service, business should of been good if there is that great a need for it.
Scott, I'll drive you home from the Ski Lodge! You just have to pleasure me on the drive.... If your drunk you can say you dont remember because you were drunk.LOL!
