I have kids so we go to every fireworks around. I usually go to royalton so the kids can play the games then I go to Lockport to my mom's for the fireworks. The pirate fest has some nice fireworks too. Does anyone know if they are going to have the fireworks this year? I think it was a big mistake to not have them last year...attendence was down by about 70% because of it. Kinda makes you wonder how much it hurt the Taste of Niagara. NEWS FLASH! This just in from my wife reading over my shoulder. Change of plans we are going to the Isleview fireworks in Tonawanda...sorry. My brother in-law is coming to town now.

Unfortunately, the folks in charge of Pirate Fest (aka the Olcott firemen) are not having fireworks again this year. They also aren't having the singing groups or the actors they've used to. All they seem interested in promoting is the beer tent and not the piractical theme the name would suggest. the rest of the festival suffers for it.

I live in a great location. From the front poarch I watch Lockport and from the back Royalton. They overlap a bit but we see most of them. Last night I watched some from here, They had to be north of lockport, but I don't know where.
