1) There's a new forum - Bon Marche - for selling and buying stuff. MC suggested it. Shughes liked the idea. I went with it. Sell away. But if you get rich, I want dinner.

2) New poll: Should Christy be the new Dialog host? I noticed that people seemed to speak ill of me in my absense and thought Tom was the greatest. So I just wondered what YOU ALL thought.

3) The podcasts from when I was on vacay are posted. I still have to get Friday's online. But that should be up by morning.

4) I took some great vacation photos and will share them with you soon in the Non Sequitur forum.

So if I get mindcrime to suggest mandatory sign in, then I agree can we do that? I had to ask. I do have a question about Bon Marche. Do you have to have a sign in to post there. Having multiple anonymous sellers could get a bit confusing. Members can private message with details they may not want to post. Right now if an anonymous poster wants to contact a member some sort of personal information will need to be posted. Not the best idea.


I only listened to part of one show last week. In the few minutes I listened the only comments were Scott bashing. Now under the right circumstances I do enjoy that activity. But it didn't seem very appropriate for that particular forum. So my answer is no, no new host for now.

Tom was alright as a fill in, but too Switzerland-like as a permanent host. I like some controversy to keep me awake in the morning!

I thought your fill-in was a disappointment. For some reason, he gets off on this "How do you get your news?" "What do you think of the local media?" "Is the media responsive to your concerns?" etc., anything except the issues. I don't know if this was the game plan, but I started sleeping in by mid-week.  Christy's a nice guy, but you the man.
