NRA pulls out of Columbus ...
Permalink Closed

The National Rifle Association has decided to move it's 2007 convention from Columbus, Ohio to another city because Columbus recently instituted an "assault weapons ban."

Personally, I believe the 2nd Amendment INCLUDES assualt weapons (and rocket launchers for that matter), but it's this sort of politics by the NRA that makes me dislike them. Rather than deal with issues, they play games.

Isn't the NRA getting just a little bit silly lately?

I'll admit, assault rifles are fun to shoot, but do you really need one to hunt a deer?

Last time I was out in the woods deer hadn't develop offensive weaponry to defend themselves from man

The NRA says it plans to challenge the Columbus ban by trying to convince the legislature to adopt a law that would prevent communities from passing their own gun legislation

ACTING LIKE BABIES THEY ARE!            COMMUNITIES SHOULD BE ABLE TO GOV.THEMSELVES ON THIS ONE........I THINK ANOTHER MOVE SHOWS THIS TOO!

hunting should be more fair. take away his gun and give the guy a knife. yeah, let him hunt a deer, or a bear with a knife. we'll see if there's any real skill among these people.
