7/22/2005 A Lockport man was charged by Amherst police with misdemeanor public lewdness for allegedly exposing himself to a woman and her children at Eastview Plaza on Transit Road.
Police said Daniel C. House, 49, of East Avenue, was dressed in white stockings and high heels and wrapped in a shawl as he walked through the parking lot plaza in the 8000 block of Transit Road.
Amherst Assistant Police Chief Ronald Hagelberger said a woman and her children, who were also in the parking lot at the time, observed House as he opened the shawl to expose himself. House then jumped into a car and drove off, Hagelberger said.
The woman reportedly took down the car's license number and called police on her cellular phone. Amherst Police Officer Daniel Wick stopped House's car a short distance from the plaza and arrested him.
I saw this in the Buffalo News...anyone else see any funny/stupid things done in the area?

(Buffalo, NY, July 25, 2005) - - A well-known Lockport kickboxer and businessman is heading to prison for identity theft. As News 4's Barbara Pinson reports, his brother was also hit hard for his involvement in the case.
Amer Abdallah is a professional kickboxer and successful business owner.
But on Monday, he was sentenced to three to nine years in prison for identity theft.
George V. C. Muscato, Amer's attorney, said, "His father was not here today, because of the fact that he is so humiliated by what has happened as a result of both of his sons becoming involved in this."
Abdallah admitted to stealing identities to obtain credit cards.
And with those cards, he made nearly half a million dollars in purchases.
Amer's brother Jihad also admitted to taking part in the scheme to defraud.
He got five years probation.
Herb Greenman, Jihad's attorney, said, "He's never done anything like this before, so I think that he was truly resentful, and hopefully the judge saw that. He's made restitution in full."
So has Amer.
Together, they paid back $210,000 to various credit card companies.
Erie County District Attorney Frank Clark says identity theft is the fastest growing crime.
But he says this case was a little different when it came to Amer and his owning the Lockport Athletic and Fitness Club.
Clark said, "And, ironically, whose crimes had nothing to do with the business that he was operating."
But the kids he has a history of mentoring apparently have been impacted.
Muscato said, "He had so many students who he taught and tried to instill good values."
At one point, Amer Abdallah told the court that one of the kids he mentors said, "Coach, you went from hero to zero."
He says that was one of the most humiliating moments of his life.
Well I thought it was funny! Sad thing is I went to Niagara Produce and they were out of CROW for all the brainwashed to eat! Scott did they have any when you went there?LOL!

1) That is a funny quote. 2) Why is it you're so insistant that I should be eating crow? I thought we discusssed this in another forum. Crow is not meant to be dined on every time you're wrong. For the record, I had said early on that I had always found Amer to be a nice guy ... and that I was surprised and disappointed that he could do such a thing. If I were to eat crow every time I was wrong about something, they WOULD be out of it at Niagara County Produce.
He was the victim of a home invasion, but he's the one who's in trouble with the law this morning.
That's because of the marijuana that the robbery suspects were after last night in the 3900 block of Fredericksburg Road.
Police say the victim and his girlfriend waited 30 to 40 minutes before calling police about their stolen pot.
According to police, the invaders knocked on the front door. When the victim opened it, they pulled a gun and started demanding the marijuana.
When the girlfriend returned, she found the victim tied up in the bedroom.
"When our officers first arrived here, they weren't cooperative in the beginning," said SAPD Sgt. Curtis Coolidge. " We didn't even get the basic description until about 15 or 20 minutes here at the scene to get the victim to cooperate with the investigation."
Police say they have a vague description of the robbers, who are described as three Hispanic males, 18 to 20 years old. The trio will face aggravated robbery charges.
As for the young couple, no one was injured, but police believe that possession of marijuana charges are very likely.
