This morning, 06 July, 2005, is the 60th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, Japan.


With the bombing of this first city, mankind destroyed more lives in the shortest amount of time than ever before or since in human history. Three days later we bombed the city of Nagasaki killing nearly an equal amount of men, women and children.

As I looked through the photo gallery I had to wonder if we had had this kind of media coverage then, would our soldiers been given the same hero's welcome?
