According to David, the two boys were in line at a local deli when Matthew jokingly made an embarrassing remark to the female clerk about David. In retaliation, David counterattacked with the "titty-twister," the 15-year-old said.

"It's a thing of camaraderie," David said. "If he's going to assume our friendship is on that level, then so am I."

There's a big difference between comedic attacks and physical ones. This sounds like this David character got dissed in front of a chick he never had a chance with anyway and took out his embarrasment on his younger buddy. Raw survival tactic, make yourself look better by making someone else look worse. (Hey, it got Bush elected...)  The 3 Stooges weren't really slapping each other with 2x4's and hitting each other in the face with hammers. If I was Matthew, I'd have kicked my 'buddy' squarely in the jewels. Then I'd say "Bet you never saw that on the Stooges."
