The Florida GOP is trying to get former congressman and current talk show host Joe Scarborough to throw his hat into the ring to run for Senate in the Sunshine State.

I had booked Scarborough to be a guest on Dialog twice when his book, "Rome Wasn't Burnt in a Day," came out. Both bookings were scuttled. Once by a hurricane ... and the other time, by the flu, I think. Maybe he'll want to come on now.

Whaddya think of Scarborough? He's kind of a jerk. But I like his sense of humor. He's definately a Bushie, but I recall more than one occasion where he disagreed with the administration and/or establishment. He could give Nelson a better run than Harris would ... of course, Harris could get a lot of money for her cult status that Scarborough doesn't have. Keep an eye on this one, kids.
