As someone who spent nearly twenty years in this particular (and peculiar) Niagara Falls business, I have to disagree with you on this one my friend. This is no good deal at all. Another Scam with a Press Release.

If you look at the run-length on this promotion, it appears to be only two weeks as I read the Business First article. So, giving away two prizes (one per week) for two weeks is a total of $3,000 dollars in gas for TWO "lucky" visitors that are Already Here (see article in order to enter)...that's for starters. (Make the winner redeem all the gas say, at the station on the corner there in Lockport.:)

Now here's a thought: Good old Bobby Newman, of NOCO fame, wasn't he the Niagara Falls Chamber guy for a while? His Daddy owns NOCO. That's a fuel, gasoline, oil company based right here in WNY on River Road. Couldn't Big Daddy, through Junior, have "donated $3,000 dollars worth of gas? At today's prices that's only about 950-1000 gallons. NOCO probably SPILLS that much "every so often"!

Here's another thought about this "promo"...they are BORROWING MONEY to be paid back by the Casino revenues (when the cows come home)...And yet another is we, the taxpaying body of this County, get all of this from State Senator George Maziarz (Good Friends to CERTAIN $Hoteliers$--including IDA tax abated ones), Yeop, we get all of this for only $250,000--a Quarter of a Million Dollars U.S.. Such a deal!   All this, without so much as a kiss.
