Most contradictory statement goes to....Phyllis Green "I think David Ulrich is doing a great job." After what she was quoted as saying in the past in the paper about him, that's really funny!
Most played out topic.......Brian Grear and the missing 3 year old. It's been answered time and time again. What more is there to say?
Good job Scott trying to fill the radio silence, BTW.
Scott, one candidate stated he/she would " do anything you wanted" and he/she was a " yes man". Do we need to ask what this means and will it be available on DVD?

Kevin,
No DVD, but there are some amateur photos if you'd like. (There were some REALLY GOOD photos, but I didn't post those) Also, the Union-Sun has a good story in this mornings paper.
I liked the Lombardi quote on the radio today when he said that he would interview for other jobs because his company is going to fold if they don't get more work.
I'll bet his dad was real happy that he told everybody that they were going under!
I'm surprised Lombardi doesn't get appointed to the down town maintenence job... the mayor is his drinking buddy. Isn't that how Lockport ?Government works?
The wind must have changed directions, John "FLIP FLOP" Lombardi changed his mind on all his issues again. Atleast the meeting wasn't interrupted by his cell phone cough cough bomb threat cough.
There must be a lot of Anita Mullane fans that read this site. Awfully hard on Lombardi. In my opinion, John Lombardi is the only Common Council member that is NOT auditioning for the part of Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz (ya know... "if I only had a brain")? Lombardi is truthful and tries his best to get answers and results for his constituants. He has helped me with City issues several times, always with professionalism. He's a good egg. Don't confuse his opponents motives. Remember, she is the sister of the lady who wanted to be the City assessor (you remember, the lady who wanted more money and better benefits than the last guy had.) Perhaps Anita's decision to run is for her sister to have a supporter the next time the Assessor's job becomes vacant. While were on the subject, here is my wish list for this election day: Get rid of Kibler, Green and Schrader. They are obsolete. They are past their prime. We need new people and new ideas. Not the same old tactics. Remember, if Phyllis had here way..we'd most likely still have a south block instead of beautiful potential. She was willing to renege on part of the deal with Ulrich and could have cost the City dearly. Vote her out!!
For all you pin heads - He stated he is an officer at the firehall. I believe once you gain some rank there will be others below you. So he has some leadership skills! He also addressed the question by saying he would work within the department and with the respected department heads that are already in place. You see he has some leadership skills and can think, so the safety of the county remains in place.
Just wondering if anyone saw the lockport paper today. The article about the inmate and his letters to other about the wonderful care he received. If this is true - I would say this is poor leadership - As Beilein stated the buck stops ... wait he has to ask the little senator what to say next.
It 30 plus million - And that's way to much for us taxpayers. Look at the budget and you will see this department is a big burden on other programs in the county. The county manager even said today - that the jail is filled, wonder if the FED. Housing is really making money or are we being used, due to a poor contract that Beilein signed us up for!
It appears you do not have any faith in the department heads. The department will be fine with new leadership. Maybe some of the fat will retire after GREAR WINS!!!
I closer look as to who is supporting Beilein you will see it's the senator. That to me is a red flag -
Back to my other question - did anyone see the newspaper today? If that article is true say good-bye to more of our tax dollars. Just another lawsuit to add to the long list that we already have.
Hmmm, makes a good point. How many times has Belien been sued vs. Grear? OK, OK, that's not fair. Allow me to rephrase: How many times has Belien been sued in the last 5 years vs. Grear's entire life?
Incidentally, does anyone have figures on how often the sheriff's Dept. wins or loses those suits?

All you Beilein fans are killing me. Ask him to lift the gag order and allow Grear to tell everyone the facts. Give it a break ... you people are nuts.
Speaking of nuts - Beilein has stated that he served proudly and uses words like serving with honor. Would one of you Beilein fans ask him to release him Military Records. I bet he says no!! And lets do it today so we all can see them prior to Nov. 8th.
I to was at the dale forum on wed. evening and afterwards looked at a flier that was handed to me, I was amazed at the fire and police depts that are supporting Brian Grear! That speaks volumes, There are years of experience from all dept's in this paperwork, and I'm ready for a change! All these people with their infinite wisdom can't be wrong!
It might be time for a change, but I can't see giving the reins to a snow plow operator who went bankrupt with no management experience, who is basically going to be a puppet to an ex-sheriff who left a mess and left town!
You don't give a $30,000,000 budget to a guy who hasn't led!
Anonymous wrote: OH, sorry I forgot he was an officer at the fire department!!!! Now that makes him qualified to run a $25,000,000 budget. I'm sure his plowing business has a budget close to that, well maybe if you add in his supposed towing business. And do you really want to compare a short senator to the real guy running for sheriff, Villela??? Boy, Brian had to attend 2 debates yesterday, I wonder if he was too tired to come to work today, or did he have to call in sick again??
What was Mr. Belein's experience 12 years ago?

But did Grear even ever take or pass the sargents exam? I don't know if he ever took it, but I think he must not have ever passed it if he did or he would be a sargent.
I guess I don't understand how anyone can think someone can go from a patrol car, with the experience of running a snow plow company and going bankrupt, to being in charge of a $30,000,000 budget.
I guess of course you could though if you have someone so experienced (Villela) as your puppet master!
