I had the morning off so I decided to make some homemade wine. Yesterday was my birthday and Kelly bought me a wine making kit. We're making a Rasberry Pinot Noir. Pinot is my favorite Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! I'll keep you posted on my progress.

I was watching something on the food network about wine.

When it's done, are you going to pour about an inch of wine into a fancy glass then just stare at it while you swirl it aroung then jam you're nose into the glass & sniff it in a silly snooty way, or are you gonna DRINK it!!

What's up with that?

Oh, we're going to drink it....lots and lots of it! No smelling or swishing involved.

the wine turned out great! It's pretty strong stuff. I guess it must be safe to drink I didn't go blind...or is that something else I'm thinking of? lol!

Hey Joe,

So, is it more like a dessert wine because it's raspberry? It sounds really good! Any kinds of Pinot Noir that you would recommend (I'm a big fan, too)?

Dr Konstantin Frank is the best. It's made in New York.  Or if you like a sparkling one, Chandon is my Fav! It's made by the same company that makes Dom Perignon and Moet. I like it way better and it's only $17 a bottle. Enjoy
