The first time around, this website wasn't built in a day ... and the second time around is taking some time, too.

I'm considering reviving the forum. Good times were had here. But it was also ugly at times. What do you think? Want to make another go of it?

I've been out of the loop for some time.  I will vote but I'm not sure what the problem was with the old forum.  People can get nasty but how can that be avoided?  Some sites have a moterator to help with posters that are rude by banning them.  What is your plan for that?

Whether we re-open this forum ... or scrap it and start a new one, I'd make sure to be much more diligent on the moderation end. The snide comments and personal attacks get to be annoying and I'd like to stop it before it starts.

For that reason, I'm leaning towards starting a brand new forum ... where we don't have the baggage.

The response I got seemed to indicate people liked the forum ... but not THIS forum. So I started another one ... It's now on the menu at scottleffler.com ... or the address for the forum by itself is wny.activeboard.com ...

As it is a new forum, you will need to pick a user name and sign up again.
