A caller this morning was awfully down on the police. They're not THAT bad ... but I think they could use some help. Any ideas?

I offered the idea this morning that the department hire some people to type up their reports, which would allow the officers on duty to do their job (not paperwork). Is this idea feasable?

Any other good ideas?
