Lou... your stock in trade is word games and character assasination... and you persue it with such glee and vigor that I worry about whatever demons you carry with you, beyond the environmental ones. Don't kid yourself or work so hard to goad me out as you have in at least three separate threads... we have never met. But I have listened to your radio interviews lately and I was anxious to partake in an open forum of ideas and perhaps have the honor meeting you at some point. If ithis was the sort of forum where disagreement didn't get ugly and personal and was of a constuctive nature I woud give my real name and not just some cute little vague icon. You have pulled a play from the Rush Limbaugh handbook of pulling words and statements out of their original context to create a leper that all can mock and scorn. But, it may be a surprise for you to hear that ideas and opinions matter even when there is no face to pummel when you disagree.
One wonders where the generally well spoken calm individual from radio is? I have made only the somewhat verbose comments in this thread relating directly to your initial slamming of my first thoughts here with the need to debate the pants off me. What you you believe otherwise does not make it so just for the sake of whatever aguements you want to espouse. You seem very surprised that when you slap someone down and put your boot on their throat that they may tend to struggle and resist. My identity need be no more than the original thought I put forth - that was enough. Identities do not make the words different or the thoughts less human and worth something. I was willing to be challenged on my original statement or I would not have written it. Per Scott's board rules - I do not care to put an identity to my thoughts, so that you can have a face or an icon to direct your wasteful attacks against.
But guess what... your senseless word game tirade has paid off as you wish, because I will move on and let you continue your important work of saving people as a whole, but trashing them as individuals should they not be in complete lockstep with your every utterance.

Stay and don't name yourself, no one needs to know who anyone is. No one knows who I am unless I want them to

Some powerful word for the nameless, faceless poster. Would you be so bold if we could track what you post? This seems like a game of hide and go seek. Your oppinions would carry more weight if you had a name. Post and be counted.

Thats true MC, but you do have a name, and when you use it, people listen more.

That's true, but names tend to perpetuate pre-conceived notions and prejidices, so the words aren't heard the way they were meant. I have to try really hard to listen to G.W. Bush objectively, even though I know he's going to spew forth a lot of deceitful crap...
Anonymously, you are forced to take what is written at 'face value.'

Not true MC, I take posters with names with more value that the nameless. If you can't be bothered to think up a name, how much time are you worth?

Lou I hope you are not talking to me .........you know I love to rhyme in time

Is that your given name? Must look pretty weird on your stationary. The point is, very few of us are actually using our REAL names. So if this poster doesn't want to take the time to sign up, what's the difference?

As a matter of fact it is, and it looks fine on my letter head. "I'd hammer out danger.." I think the point is to make the threads easier to follow.
I had no problem following what the anonymous poster wrote, and don't have to cut and paste his entire post to reply. What really makes things easy to follow is when they are written in English. The language most of us speak and understand. I believe the basics in grammar and spelling were taught in elementary school. All one has to do is read their post out loud the way it is written. All the appropriate pauses and stops should be grammatically noted.
