I took the family to the first Cruise Night in Lockport. It is more convenient than ever now because I live the next Street over. It is literally a walk around the corner. I know it was the first week and all, but here is some advice. More Food Vendors would be nice. We like to walk over and have a "fun" dinner. The variety just wasn't there. Where was Bracetto's, DeFlippo's, etc?
Next, PLEASE, for the love of God. MOVE THE MOTORCYCLES. Currently, most (if not all) of the motorcycles were parked in the County (Tower) parking lot on Park Ave (next to the former Auto Bureau location). This backs up against RESIDENTIAL housing. On the beautiful evenings residents on my street like to keep their windows open. My kids bedrooms are located in the rear of the house. Imagine their horror when at about 9:02pm twenty-five Harley's start reevving their engines all at the same time. The windows were actually shaking. This was an unacceptable nuisance (especially on a school night). Don't get me wrong, I like motorcycles. I have friends that own Harleys. I prefer the quieter ones. As a home owner with small children, who are in bed by 8:30-9:00 it would be appreciated if the organizers of cruise night would MOVE THE MOTORCYCLES to a less residentially-populated area. Maybe the parking lot next to Shamus? There are no houses behind that area.
Scott, can you please pass this along to whoever it is that decides where the cars/bikes, etc are parked?
It was only the first week, at a new location. If you have a problem talk to the staff. They need input from the community to make the event successful. I know there will be better things to come.

Why is Christie Whitman going to do your pr? Move the bikes, it seems fair.

Nothing you are so right.....So I will get right to the point....Usually if there is a problem with the night like jspeer said you can contact them.In our town all the cycle people are very good about making people happy. The car Cruise people want it to go off with out a hitch. The Biz. owners want it to go good to.Good for the economy.
