Hello there to all members, My name is Rod and I am a Minister. A real, true to life nondenominational Minister. I am joining this group because I hear it in the radfio. Once I have gotten here, I see so much trouble and heartache. I think everyone can draw clear lines to themselves in these thoughts. We are all troubled and at times in need of a lift. I have also seen much anger, hatred and malice toward each other and I have to say, that this is not a righteous path to follow. We must all exist as breteren and have respect for one another. I'm sure you all know this and I'm sorry to be entering this 'sanctuary' of sorts preaching to y'all.
If someone feels the need to strike out, to cause pain, please come to me and strike me and NOT each other. Or, just in need of a quiet place ? Might I suggest that this little spot of cyberspace be that place?
Calmness to all ye who enter here through this portal, relax your mind,
didja ever notice their is no direct translation from aramaic or hebrew or greek to "thee" , "thou", "ye" etc etc , and didja ever read duet. 4;2 ? which says essentially "do not change anything in this text that i (YHWH whom most call "God") have given you " ? also the same admonition is given in duet; 13 and the last few paragraphs of revelations .... ? and daniel and ... ?
how about the" moabite " problem which proves 1 book of the bible to be falseified at least partially - but it could be one of two books . which one is falsified ?
just freindly questions - i do not question that "most" of the bible is accurate --- except for .... but enough for now ....
Scott, we were just playing..... no need to take drastic measures. LOL! So what other topics do you know about? I don't know much about church. I don't think that you need walls around you to worship god. My granfather used to say that having faith and being a good christian had nothing to do with the walls of the church but with the how you practiced it in your daily life. A lot of people believe that going and sitting in a building on a sunday is good enough. I just think that each person has the right to practice as they see fit and should not be judged by where they practice. I get a lot of different religous groups coming to my house weekly. I don't mind it until they tell me that I'm going to hell for not going to a church. What do you think Reverand? Am I wrong?

"What if god was one of us Just a stranger on the bus" I think we agree
Hey, Reverand, I think almost everybody on this site preaches at one time or another. If this were some kind of religious sanctuary, we couldn't discuss a lot of the topics. I see a difference between preaching and teaching. People need to preach less and teach more.
