"Indians first baseman Ben Broussard and Olympic gold medalist Dominique Moceanu are among the celebrities slated to attend today's invitation-only opening of the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Middlefield Township." - this is from an article in my hometown paper in Ohio. (news-herald.com) Sorry, I don't know how to link it.
The last line of the article is that there will be special parking available for buggies. Middlefield is a mostly Amish community. We used to play them in sports in high school (they had some very big boys on their football team!). It's just really strange to read about what a big deal this is. Sounds like they're extremely happy to get the store. I guess even the Amish need Walmart?

When we lived in Ashland, there was buggie parking at Wal-Mart (as well as other stores, too) and the Amish were there all the time, although their favorite store seemed to be Aldi's.
