A good source told me that they want to cut 400 jobs. Did you know that only 8 man hours of labor go into building a car? Why do they cost so damn much? We need to lower our prices and steal back our costomers.

one is the chevy malibu (spelling real bad. Saturn imports parts, so that is incorrect.

so today i spent most of the day replacing the engine in a toyota that had been made in america ,.... anyway if the first letter of the vin is a w the car is made in germany , if a j the car is made in japan , a 1 or 4 is American made . a 3 is mexico - those i remember . there are others .

we dont use the "c" word any more , now the word is Multi Point or sequential Fuel Injection ,which replaced throttle body fuel injection and bank fuel injection , soon to be changed to Direct Fuel Injection . [skippped a few but no one will notice ]

and we had a nissan maxima from another shop , with a vacuuum leak in the EGR system which i identified with a low pressure smoke generator , they could not find the leak as they didnt have the tool , that car also has LTFT long term fuel trims pinned at + 33.6% on both banks at 2500 rpm hot [ruling out a small vacuum leak as the source of the P0171] . and a DTC p0171 , system lean bank 1 . to top it off the front o2 sensor on bank 1 is pinned rich .... so ECM command is for maximum enrichement with a rich condition on bank 1 , KAKA that condition can not exist , but there it is ..., that car will be back .... after the other shop replaces the bad EGR part . ask me if i like the new inspection regulations ( yes i do , thanks for asking )

first # in the vin is a J ..... made in japan ....
