I walked in a cancer walk today. Batting4Bryan was the group that ran it. I was helping them with some benefits a few years ago and became pretty good friends with them. The boy passed away a few years ago. The group is still active in helping families with financial problems though. I think it is great that the parents and friends are still helping others. One thing that bothered me was that Roswell Park wouldn't help them raise money because the money wasn't going to research. I think they need to rethink their decision. I know research is very important but so is the well being of the family. The bills add up fast when you are going to hospitals and doctor visits everyday. People need to be thankful for what they have and the time they have with their loved ones. Make every moment count. I do.
