whAT MATTERS MOST is that the government agency responseble for tracking and entering the info about health problems into an accurate database does the job - and that when problem areas are identified the government agency in charge of identifieing and fixing the problem exposed by the database statistics does indeed fix the problem ;   so far that is not the way it works .

the way it works now is one group makes up #s that look good , and the other group says , look what a good job we are doing as shown by these statistics .      there is no problem here .

Why try and single me out--see what I mean? Care to "expose" who else is "hiding" something? Or, don't you know and you're just shooting loosely from the hip again like the "caves"--that you had NO IDEA of what you were even talking about?  Yeah, we all know something and should stick with it. L.R. I'll be right there to come and tell you how to paint your store items and you how you should decorate the front store window. After all, I did spend twenty years in marketing and tourism, with an emphasis on seasonal retailing--right up your alley.. Sheesh, your something!  -- Edited by NuclearLou at 08:34, 2005-05-30

When they first started doing the cancer study it was street by street. When the results started coming back with definite nieghborhood clusters, they changed the plan and went with zip codes. What you have to remember Mike, is that this area was crawling with military contracts. Most of these contracts are still protected they claim for national security. Thank you patriot act. The same government agencies that should be protecting us will use that wall of silence to protect their own. Until we have private companies not paid by the government, nothing will change. Don't forget the town of porter master plan that got shelved because it said what they didn't want it to. New studies can always be bought if you have the money to buy them. Most experts say what the people paying them want said. Is it wrong, you bet. The only way things will get turned around is if we stick together. We need to focus on all the sites to get the individual ones the attention they need. This is so much bigger than loow, lew-port, Starpoint, Roy-hart, Barker, the professor and Maryanne. It's about the current mindset and what we can do to change it. Think Big Picture!

ok , big picture ,   imagine a huge wall made of bricks , i know i cannot knock down the wall , i am too little [ and i am not vey little ] , but if i try real hard and work carefully i can knock out one brick at a time ,learning from previous bricks how to better knock out subsequently knocked out bricks .       after a lot of brick knocking , the wall is breached .

unless you have a bulldozer , which i dont have , i do have a mini excavator ? but it wont knock down a wall ...      all we need is a hammer and a chisal and a plan .

if you guys are working on getting a bulldozer , ok , hurry up and wait , but if there is no bulldozer in your future .....   why wait ?

Hey Mike:

Would you like to see the blisters on many people's hands here? Again, I'm sorry for your loss. I REALLY am and I understand the word anger.. BUT, is this helping?

DO YOU THINK for a second that anyone is "hurrying up and waiting" for anything? Not doing everything that they can? Don't you think that there is a plan? Aren't you a part of the plan?

Spending time here on this board, arguing with shadows and people that we know is SO VERY unproductive. I can see some of the others wasting our time...but not you and your family.

I invited you guys here. I asked beforehand to keep it to the subject & topic and NOT to get into political debate or commentary. There's already enough of that here. Isn't there a board for politics around where you live? I don't mean that in a harmful way, but I hope you get the point. O.K.--now bash away everyone at what I just said.

This is not the first time that you have insinuated that enough is not being done on this end. I for one am very tired of hearing that and am beginning to get a bit insulted. Write letters to the editor of the Niagara Gazette. Did you ever call the editor/publisher like I asked you to? I haven't heard a word from the papers, or have I seen any letters.

What are you guys waiting for?

Best regards,

Lou R.

WRITE A LETTER TO THE EDITOR! HAVE YOUR FAMILY DO THE SAME. Ask WHY NO ONE spoke, wrote or reported about the Manhattan A-bomb Project African Uranium K-65 waste (the real stuff) reclassification last year, leaving behind (basically in the soil-below water table anyway) between one-third and the largest single source of Radium-226 in the World!!!--Buried and leaking in Lewiston & Porter?   BTW-That would have been the Bush Administration, House Resolution HR-2754, (2004-108th Congress).

Cheers and have at it.

AW, you watch good.. I'm not what you think..I NEVER rain on parades. I like to go to them and take people with me--and kids. I love smiles and the laughter of children.

The 30% about rain was joking in case you missed it. You know, like a weather report. Besides, what's wrong with a 30% chance? That's about nothing in the weather world. I was just trying to sing along. See if I do that again.

To that Dovey..."What does that mean."  WHY does EVERYTHING have to do with YOU? Why do you take the simplest remark and try to make something of it and then go about confusing and accusing this one or that one of meaning anything. MY GOD! I guess ONLY you guys can have fun, right?

Well I for one will not play or sing along anymore.

Vera

Oh faceless one called vera, lighten up. I didn't attack you...yet. I don't think you are anyone as you are faceless. I do have some word of wisdom for you: "don't cry out loud, just keep it inside. Leard how to hide your feelings..." I do find it a bit funny that now the faceless ones are having tantrums. To each his own.

Yeah... for crying out loud Vera - what kind of name is "Vera" anyways? You expect ANYONE to believe that someone actually named their kid "Vera?" We can't count you as a real person until you register and post just the right, cute little picture that is the very essence of all you are and use a real name like "Swampgas" or "Sir Wigglebottom" or "Alwayswatching."
