Dear Anonymous person,

The New York Power Authority has been conducting Alternative Licensing Process (ALP) hearings for the past several years. At stake is hundreds of millions of dollars for the environment, funds earmarked for remediation of, and compensation for, water and land damage caused by the Robert Moses Power Project over the past 50 years, and in exchange for a license to operate for the next 50 years.

Now is your chance to become involved in the relicensing decision. I urge every member of Scott Leffler's Forum to submit comments to NYPA and FERC as to how you think these relicensing dollars should be spent.

The email address for your comments is niagararelicensing@urscorp.com. The deadline is Friday, 5 PM.

For your reference, the PDEA (Preliminary Draft Environmental Assessment) so far dedicates $80 million (NPV) watershed remediation, and around $112 million (NPV) for the "Greenway". The PDEA has only been released to those of us who are identified stakeholders, for security reasons, something none of us had a problem with, since actual schematics of the Power Project are included. However, your comments regarding radioactivity, homeland security, green space or anything else, will be entered on the public record and figure in FERC's determination as to whether the relicensing process will proceed.

The EPA documents NHP has amount to a stack. They contend that the Hyde Park landfill has been remediated. You can obtain these documents from the Buffalo EPA office, and you may not even need to FOIA them. They wouldn't have been of use to you for the purposes of your ALP comments by Friday. But it was alot of fun baiting NuclearLou!

Hello to all decent folks:

I am asking that everyone take a look at the comments left on the various threads concerning the Robert Moses Parkway issue, the "where are they?" thread, and a couple others related to this issue.

It was just said by a member of this group that they enjoyed "baiting me," wasting valuable time, and that no further mention of certain documents previously ascribed as being important was made.

Unfortunately, this has caused me and a couple of others to spend and waste a certain amount of time. This is unfortunate that the writer feels that I have been baited as I see it the other way around. I have been proven valid, and the Agent Provocateur has been discredited. That's good enough for my cause.

Just as a note--the documents that the Agent Provocateur mentioned were not very important to begin with, as there are VERY FEW of any current official environmental agency documents that I have not seen. I'm still interested in any documents that may be floating around out there, I just was pretty certain that those in contention here would be rather useless considering the level of knowledge that this person has regarding the subject. What seems important to one "environmentalist" may not be so to another Environmentalist.

Thank you everyone for your support. It is very unfortunate that this has happened and I apologize to all for the efforts they expended, such as AW, MikeOfMountain and others that have offered to pick up these purported documents, offers of paying for FedEX, etc. Thanks to all.

Wow, really good the results turned out the way they did on the 17th. You wanted to be a voice for children? And for the record alot is actually 2 words a lot. You did not indicate that Lou would enjoy all of the documents, you implied a few might raise his eyebrows. See how much more polished that sounded. If you want to be taken seriously you need to think before you post. This is a public board and I wouldn't want my kids reading that type insinuation. But don't post on my account because I don't want to hear it.

Scott, I do believe these are the same types of postings you criticized just yesterday. Care to make a comment.

And not only this site, I know of 3 others you can get these maps. One of the sites had infared, now thats security!
