Yes Jenny, I am very proud of her too--I don't even know her but I DO Know that she was involved in some way and concerned about Brianne Sterner's situation. I have several places and people I am concerned about. I include everyone reading this in THAT Circle. EVERYONE--even JH.

The word is PERVASIVE--"To spread through every part"- Webster.

Complex chemicals, acids and radioactive materials are now pervasive all around Niagara County.

Serious health effects and mortality are pervasive around here.

The chemical seepage at Love Canal was pervasive and obvious. You can not see radioactive materials but yet they can be PERVASIVE.

Cooperation should now be pervasive on Scott's Blog-- (yeah sure LOL! BUT maybe?)

I DO appreciate you--

Lou

Ok, everyone is back to playing nice, thats good because I hate being the voice of reason. Wow did you read that, I was the voice of reason. Don't pass that around, I have an image to protect. I'm going back to my seat near the back door, look what happens when I take my eyes off that sand box.

Not to pull you all away from your family argument (which it seems like), but I want to let you know about our friend's organization. It's called the Bryan Lawrence Foundation. Almost 4 years ago, my husband and I helped them raise money for alternative treatments for their dying son. Together, with many events by the Lawrence family, we raised over $150,000. Unfortunately, Bryan passed shortly thereafter. This was the biggest wake up call for us. We thought if you raised enough money, anything can be cured. I know it's very naive, but never having being faced with the death of a child, it seems unreal. My husband cried for three days, and our appreciation of our own sons has changed. Life is so fragile.

However, this family has turned their tragedy into something good. They now run the Bryan Lawrence Foundation, or Batting for Bryan. They raise money through a walk a thon, golf tourney, baseball tourney, etc...to help other families that are dealing with the horror of having a child with cancer.

The family should not have to worry about how they will pay their mortgage next or their electric bill when their child is going through radiation and chemo. A lot of times the parents lose their jobs because of too much time off to care for their child. Nobody ever hears about this, but people lose their homes, careers, and unfortunately their children to this awful disease.

The Lawrence Foundation is trying to help local families in crisis. Most cancer charities raise money for research, which is very important. However, the Lawrence Foundation deals with the here and now.

Their website is Lawrence-foundation.org.

KSpeer: Thanks for the info. Anyone who's ever faced the death of a child has an insight and perspective that's different than the rest. I hope you and your friends are over the grief stage and have strengthened. All I can do is be hopeful . I'm waiting on the phone call shortly for my friend's child Patrick B. He just turned twelve on April 30. Actually, the doctors only gave Pat two weeks in early April and said that he probably wouldn't see that birthday. There is a very big support structure around Pat and his parents Alexandra and Peter trying to be as helpful "as we can" with emails, a little food, prayers, updates and pop=ins. That's how I'm in the loop. It's at the point where there are only a few family members and close friends around. It sounds like you've been there.

Patrick's death is now imminent. The story is really tearing and has been draining on the parents (I can't even fathom). They have been the strongest two people=couple I have ever seen.  Arrangements were made to send Alex and Peter to a cabin in Canada afterward to be together. It's been sad to see and hear the tale of Patrick's sleeping more and more now the last week or so and the constant care his parents give him. Not too much 'care' in the therapy or medication sense really, just trying to be awake when he is so they have that time with him.    Anyway.  Kind regards, L

Full circle of Mindcrime crime w latest overposting. Subject gets too ugly about local health and environment, or the subject is serious and a telling tale, MC changes it. Then goes to his topic subject, his timing.   Interesting that it came full circle with the same subject and over the same previous poster.. as numerous times previously. Yes this should be at the top and for good reason.

MC's antics are good enough reason to keep it up on top.

MC's antics? Asking that people not stereotype? Oh, you're right. So evil, that MindCrime.

What, praytell, are the tricks? And what is the purported purpose. And just how paranoid do we have to get before we kill each other?

ks, I just visited  the batting for brian site. What a wonderful thing this family has done. Maybe all of us from this site should get together and volunteer for a day. Or start a collection from the members of Scott Lefflers forum. Scott, when you get up and running, will you add this link along with Doveys? Thanks Ks

AW, It's already on the list of things to do. I agree that it looks like a great organization with a great idea. Happy to get the word out.

Thanks Dovey, we'll keep that in mind for the next time they have an auction type fundraiser!

And Lou - I really feel for you and that family. Keep doing what you're doing! Right now, they just need support from loved ones.
