On this solemn occasion, I hope you can enjoy the day what what families you have.
 
I will be in Wilson at the faire and then going to the falls to spend the afternoon with my mother, aunt and uncle.
 
In between the hotdogs and potato salad, take a moment to remember that although Salen's may be the official sponsor of Memorial Day, it is not the reason for Memorial Day. Remember the real reason. And be proud ... and humble ...

Just got back from Wilson and the parent's boat. We've been going to Wilson for this event for at least 7-8 years. What a great job they do! Kudos to those in charge. Had a great time as always, and bought a bunch of much needed crap. Even last year with all the rain was awesome!
