So one of Lombardi's buddies pranks him on his cell phone and the taxpayers suffer? How much did this stunt cost us? Will there be repercussions? I doubt it. I think the I'm above the law mentality set forth by our elected officials is terrible. Look at Phylis and her dealings with our lockport police. She gets a ticket for parking in a fire zone and throws it on the ground. And Cyd Bennett with all her dealings. And Aldermen Lombardi and Cercone always getting drunk in public. And Kibler what can we say about the real life Archie Bunker with his Monkey Bar and other races comments. I think the only normal alderman is Blackley and now he wants out of office. Can you blame him? Let's get these idiots out of office in November. We need educated people in office not career polititions with agendas.

In order for someone to call him, they would have to know his #. Is there a cell phone book with listings that we don't know about? There was very little in the US&J about it, so I think all the facts aren't readily available.

As of yet, there's still no cell phone book out there, but cell phone numbers are getting more and more readily available. And most politicians give theirs out to everyone, so just cause he got a call on his cell phone doesn't mean it was a friend of his. In fact, if memory serves me correct, his cell phone number is on the outgoing message of his businesses answering machine, so, obviously it is easyily obtained.

I agree, a lot of people have my cell phone number I didn't give it to. I change the number every year to stop this from becoming a problem. I think who ever made the call should be charged with something and Lombardi should change the number and only give it to friends and business people.

Could it be that the little mayor wanted to glorify his sad week as the acting mayor, because Tucker was out getting his fat man surgery - finally? This guy talks out of both sides of his mouth – That’s why when you hear him say his name - John Lombardi … John Lombardi – was that an echo – no just John double talking again.
While were on the subject of double talking – word has it that if the rep. party remains in control of the legislature he is the front runner for the clerks job. Wonder if he is telling his constituents in his ward this and that he won’t be able to represent them if this is happens?
I can not wait to hear him double talk his way out of this!
