This Business First story shows that Hillary and Chuck Shumer are both doing well in favorability polls. Interesting to note: 11 of the top 16 ranking Senators are Dems. One is Independent Jim Jeffords (who caucuses with the Dems) and four are Republicans. Conversely, the bottom tier is filled with Republicans. Now, we're quite a ways away from mid-term elections and only 1/3 of the seats are up, of course, but it looks like states with Republican senators aren't happy with their performance. Is there another way to read this? I am, afterall, a partisan kind of guy.
