I can't answer that question, as I am not from the left. I try to stay somewhere in the middle. My views bounce both left and right on many issues, this one just happens to lean towards the left. Knowing what I know about the effects of war, I can't support it in this case. Should we defend our selves, yes. Should we adopt a blanket one size fits all approach, no. We knew who Hitler was, terrorists come in all shapes and sizes. If we pick one religious group or one country because a small few are evil, we are no better than them. That just makes us bigger bullies.
