Or rather, they're on target to take more money from the poor than ever before, while shorting the schools as much as possible.

I can't stand the fact that the state does this to its citizens. I'm no opponent of gambling ... but I am against state-run gambling. It'd be like state-run cigarette vending machines. Or crack houses. Everyone knows that gambling is bad for you. If you want to partake anyway, that's your business. But the state shouldn't sponsor it.
