Bill Dalrymple, 56, and best friend Bryan Pinn, 65, have decided to take the plunge and try out the new same-sex marriage legislation with a twist -- they're straight men.

The reason for the marriage? Tax benefits.

I think this adds to the debate. Anyone familiar with the 14th Amendment? Two words: Equal Protection.

People get married for different reasons.


Look at that Newfane principal who was a pillar of his Catholic church leading a double life.


Maybe people should get lie detector tests before being allowed to walk down the aisle.

I don't think they have the 14th Amendment in Canada...


But if it were to happen here, I wouldn't have a problem with it, straight people get married for all manner of reasons other than love.
