Maybe if this guy didn't act like such a spoiled, cluless retard, the secret service wouldn't have to 'secure' every place he goes like Fort Knox

Actually, it happens all the time. When's the last time a middle-class, worked-for-a-living, common-sense-using, average American was elected into the White House? They're always well-to-do or independently wealthy, spoiled, arrogant white men intersted in helping other rich white men. Tends to happen on the lower levels too, such as congress or governorships. In fact, here's my credentials for the ideal president:

He/she's never made more than $60,000 a year in his/her life.

He/she's not a Republican or a Democrat.

He/she's not married with kids.

He/she's not politically connected with corporations or special interests.

He/she's under 40.

Vice President Al Gore paddles a canoe down the Connecticut River on the border between New Hampshire and Vermont as part of a campaign swing through New Hampshire, Thursday, July 22, 1999. Gore's canoe trip, one of many quirky moments from this political season, caused a controversy after it was reported that a dam in New Hampshire was opened to release about 4 billion gallons of water so the vice president wouldn't get stuck while paddling.

I guess both Dems and Republicans do dumb things that cost the tax payers money.

Just as soon as I'm of age. 3 more years to go. And my second order of business will be to send Iraq an invoice.
