Score Another Home-Run for Ed McDonald. This Glennnn AaroNOW guy is a JERK! He had no answer, wouldn't or couldn't answer, if his fellow county residents were drinking radioactive materials in their water. He's just ONE MORE piece of Niagara County political TRASH!

This is just an aside and apologies for hijacking your thread Ed but, seriously, I never hear stories like this where I'm living now. I've been thinking about this for awhile because there is ALWAYS something like this going around LP. I suspect it's because I live in a bigger city now; LP is so much more entertaining anyways.

At any rate, I heard that story about assaulting a high school kid during a basketball game like two years ago (it was mentioned in the other thread on this issue) and I don't know if it's very fair to bring this kind of thing up. I mean, what if neither rumor is true -- it would devastate me to be falsely accused of berating people and hitting minors! I think you would have more credibility, Ed, if you focused on the issues (which I tend to think he could be trounced on for obvious reasons)or even how his campaign is being run (that School District phone # on the caller ID showing up the day before the primary smelled like dirty politics to me). I just can't believe something that I wasn't there to witness and I think it's unfair to post unsubstantiated gossip on the internet.

gee....sounds like Mr. A is showing his true colors....and they ain't Red White and Blue!

I've known Mr. Ed for a lot of years people, and if he said it happened....it happened!! And shame on Mr A. for acting that way. There is never a good enough excuse to treat or speak to anyone like that. It's disgusting, and it ought to be brought to the attention of the press....like in a lawsuit maybe......that secretary has every right to throw one on him....maybe then he would learn to control his vulgar mouth!

Ed, just wondering if you were on County taxpayer dime when you came across all this valuable info? As a City taxpayer, I dont get much bang for my County tax buck, did you just happen to be there during WLVL office staff hours eating free Molinaro donuts or what?

MBrophy, I do my very best not to repeat rumors, as you said they can be devastating. I know, being a Union President there are rumors about me everyday.

You may have missed it but in my original posting I listed the witnesses that were there when this all took place.

There are many issues out there we could be talking about, most of which are about money and the way the “republic-crates” are tossing the senior citizens to the side, you know with Mt. View and now the toiling of the senior nutrition program (975 meals everyday). But, a major issue that won’t come to a vote is a candidate’s creditability (honestly), or lack of. We can only witness this, (which I have) or hear about it. And we get a chance to vote on it every two years. NOW is the time!

The voters of the 16th district deserve better, much better. Folks vote for a gentleman who has established a great deal of honestly and creditability in Mr. McNall.

Still let me remind you Mr. Aronow has not responded to what happened Monday. If he does, expect a beautiful rendition. I’ve been involved in one of his beautiful renditions personally.

Not to coy but most of the time I am on the County dime. There is so much misunderstanding, alleged wrong doing with employees and the county not following an agreement we both made called a contract, that NYS has a law called the Taylor law. And I’m not an attorney, but some where in that huge document it prohibits the County of Niagara from preventing the Union President or his designee from interfering with Union business.

Now that being said; we (the county and the Union) have an understanding that has worked for years. I believe my boss deserves the right to know where his employees are so, I let them know in advance when my meetings are, where they are, who they are with and the time they are. Most of the time I can not divulge the substance of the meeting for obvious reasons. I am not required by the Taylor Law, to do any of this, but I have nothing to hide and it is so much easier to get along on this issue as there bigger fish to fry so to speak.
