After the comments posted about the various candidates I have to ask a question. Why do people run for office when they don't attend the meetings prior to running? For example, how many town meetings did Brad Erck attend in the year prior to running? How many Legislature meetings did Joe Chiappone attend in the year before he ran? How do candidates feel they honestly know the issues if they only show up once or twice? or not at all ???? Maybe one of the other reasons the Democratic party is having problems is the leadership, and I'm not talking about Rocky Wagner. I'm referring to Cindy Lenhart.

Good point Scott,

John is a good man.  He should have been elected, but since his uncle had to throw his name in to back Grear, John suffered.

Now his Uncle is laughing his way to the bank back to Ohio.  Hopefully never to be heard from again here in Niagara County.
