WASHINGTON (AP) - Sen. John Kerry initially voted in favor of a Republican-sponsored resolution calling on President Bush to explain his strategy for success in Iraq. Minutes later, the Democrat changed his vote.
The scene underscores the risks facing every politician trying to determine an appropriate and politically wise response to war that's become increasingly unpopular with the public.
JK is not an example of a good American politician , i can not imagine how he rose to where he has , but that is another story .... the silly people that elected him no doubt deserve what they have , along with Ted K . but NYS is no better with Hillary and Charles , how on earth were we so foolish ?
nobody ever polls me or the people i know about the war , if they did i would show them a different veiw .
First you say Kerry is not a politician, then you say you can't imagine how he "rose to where he" is. Do you see the contradiction there?
Also, I'd like to know what your take is on Saddam's trial, which has been delayed again because the defense attorneys keep getting shot off, and others are now too scared to show up in court. After a couple of years in Iraq "fighting terrorists", who would you say is really in charge over there?

i said he was not a "good" politician , not that he was not a politician .
under sadam insane , iraq had 8 hours of electricity a day , he said to his people it was because "god" wanted it to be that way and no one could change what "god" wanted , now iraq has 24 hours of electricity per day in most places.
the sunnis who were in power and shared little with those unfortunates [kurds , shi ites] who were not in power , dont want things to change , not to mention unlocal talent imported through al qaeda . i see things in iraq as better now than they were in 2003 , improving by leaps and bound s ,
the artificial timetable imposed by the coalitian is right on schedule ... is it perfect ? no ? but then again is it perfect in niagara falls ? or buffalo ? and they dont even have to deal with al qaeda or the baathist sunnis .
