I think minimum wage should be based on several factors not limited to: - Level of education of employee. Someone with a Bachelor's or Master's degree (or higher) should make more than someone with a high school diploma or GED. -
I thought that this was the case already in a lot of companies -- doesn't Delphi pay its engineers on a higher scale than line workers? I'm not being disagreeable here, just curious.
I'm more than a little curious about the salaries of the executive board at Delphi -- anyone have any information? Are they taking pay cuts? Is the corporate jet being sold for parts yet? Are they threatening the retired executives w/ loss of healthcare benefits or their promised pensions? Somehow, I just don't think so but if anyone has come across this information, let me know because it seems to have eluded me.
