Unfortunately, this unsubstantiated claim about Scott shutting down his site is being spread around on the Niagara Gazette blog site. Would you know anything about this? Is this why the post was deleted. Gossipy rumors are a nasty thing and should be avoided.

One last post for the alter ego king! Note how no names were used. I am glad you are doing what you feel need's to be done for your cause and I wish you well.

I have been reading the other board you have been posting about. Lot's of good information there but the presentation is not so good. If this is something you truly want to clean up think of the old cliche "you catch more flies with honey". I'm not looking for an attack from you I'm just offering some advice. Not everyone has stellar typing and spelling skills. That does not mean what they have to say is any less important than what you have to stay. Face it you and your alter egos have some major anger. You will never accomplish what you strive for until you learn coping skills that don't include search and destroy tactics. Did you notice that the host of the other site is shutting down? I would guess not because you are still attacking all in your site. I will leave you with one last thought; questions are not attacks stop treating them as such.

There now you may go about your business of tearing this post to shreds as you have done all of the others. Criticize until your hearts content, but I would guess you don't sleep as well as you claim.

This site (http://www.scottleffler.com) is not "shutting down." And, unless the host was taken to a mental hospital within the last several hours (hey,?), I don't think he is "shutting down" either.

Why not post whatever answer you found out? I mean this rumor was started right here and there is a responsibility to clear the air, wouldn't you think, rather than leaving this hang like you did.

There was a posting made over at the Niagara Gazette blog announcing that Scott's blog was closing here because of some nasty or racial posts. Why don't you post your findings here AND there, instead of just deleting this post? That's how nasty rumors get passed and not stopped!

So sorry Nuclearlou, no rumor here. Here's the thing: Only a few people on this board really know what happened and why. Scott didn't feel he needed to explain himself to you and many others on this sight. He owes you nothing and neither do the rest of us. You are attacking this poster that has deleted her account because she apparently noticed something was wrong and wanted to know why. I would assume that because the original post was deleted, she now knows what happened. Look around you, it doesn't take am amateur scientist to figure out something is up.

Hey StarButt, how'd you get to be such a busy body and jump in on every comment? Since you claimed to have come over from the newspaper blog, how'd you get to be so knowledgable about who the host even is? You're calling him by his first name like you know him...what's that about?

You also keep directing your comments at NL. You are off by a margin there wonderkind. Why are you attacking him and he's not even here? You're a piece! Go back to where you came from. Look around yourself--see any supporters except the kids from out of town?

IF "something is up" then why don't you just post it here instead of all the games?

So, he wanted YOU to know by telling someone else you know indirectly (we just find out) and not spoken directly to you first hand...? Hmmm. Don't close the site buddy! How else can we comment on local issues when we cannot call into you show??

You have a following Scott, and only so many people can call in on a given day.

I appreciate your trying to get us to go to MySpace, but I find out that when I am on the site, I always get pictures of these people there from other areas of the world who want to be my friend?? After signing on once or twice, I gave up. I don't want to talk to or meet anyone from other places, I want to address LOCAL issues.

How else can I communicate with local people, being able to vent concerns I have and choose to either sign my name or take on an anonymous title??

Other than myself, some good people I know like John Villella, and my friend Ed McDonald are willing to sign their own name to what they say.

I get to meet local people through dialog on-line like Nucleur Lou and hold him to his self proclaimed title he said on your radio show (Amatuer Scientist). (sometimes getting on the site reminds me of the christmas special with characters from 'the land of misfit toys'.)

I appreciate having a forum for people like Lou and others like shughes to challenge each other's thoughts (locally).

Scott, I noticed you converted from being a Lib and a registered Dem Scott and became a Libertarian. That is a topic I can work on at some point.

I can relate that to another radio talk show host I knew in Albany 10 years ago who was a died in the wool Conservative that became a Libertarian. Ironically, he was about the same age as you are now, and his name is Scott. (AND he had me on his radio show when I was a candidate for office in Rotterdam, Schenectady County).

Scott: Start a Libertarian page. Post the info to change party affiliations. I think you will see a mass exodus away from the political parties populated by the "regulars." Start a band of your own "irregulars," just like the militia.

Get rid of the BUMS, especially second and third generation politicians!!

You have different people with differing agenda's posting on your site. Good people and not so good.

Some are smarter than you or I, some are not.

It takes all kinds, and it is not the type of forum where you get sound bites on the radio that are satisified with responding soundbites from the host (you).

It is a different world.

From day one this site has brought some interesting discussion on many topics. It’s unique to this area. I’m not sure what has happened, but you have developed a great site.
