culled from the above .

"I suspected that many media outlets would tilt to the left because surveys have shown that reporters tend to vote more Democrat than Republican," said Tim Groseclose, a UCLA political scientist and the study's lead author. "But I was surprised at just how pronounced the distinctions are."

"Overall, the major media outlets are quite moderate compared to members of Congress, but even so, there is a quantifiable and significant bias in that nearly all of them lean to the left," said co‑author Jeffrey Milyo,

I've seen studies that prove both sides of this issue, and the problem is that, when you exclude certain sources or adjust your criteria, you can make those studies mean whatever you like. I'm inclined to trust studies that are based on facts, not interpretations.

Have you considered that the media is totally neutral, and that when they print the facts, it favors the left because people on left are correct?

more goodies culled from the same link;

Of the 20 major media outlets studied, 18 scored left of center, with CBS' "Evening News," The New York Times and the Los Angeles Times ranking second, third and fourth most liberal behind the news pages of The Wall Street Journal.

Only Fox News' "Special Report With Brit Hume" and The Washington Times scored right of the average

Ask yourself, are they talking about mere reporting? Why include editorials, opinion pieces, columns, human interest, and letters to the editor?

Just reporting the facts isn't biased. If the right keeps making the news, and not for good things, maybe they should ask themselves why, instead of blaming the media for not being on their side. Was the media on Clinton's side during his trials? I hope you don't think so...
