Home Invasion

As you all may or may not know....there was a home invasion in Appleton.  (The news channels said Newfane....but it is Appleton.)

The NCSD (and any other angency that may have been envolved) apprehended this invader and thumbs up for that!  Thank you to everyone involved in his capture.

BUT....I do have a quirk here....and I am quite upset about it.

This home invasion happened over night....early in the morning hours.  Why is it that the nearby residents had a 1st  "warning call" via the NCSD at about 7am?

And then about 10-15 min later ( or so) we received another phone call saying that the suspect was captured and to resume normal activity.

Now please someone tell me, what took the NCSD so long to make us all aware that this man was running around in our back yards?

The initial phone call stated he was considered armed/dangerous.  Was he not dangerous until 7ish or so?

I mean really now...what good is this phone call going out hours after this man committed this horrifying act?  What good does that do?  Many people get up early and enjoy a walk, take the dog out among other things...

oh...And by the way...yes I live literally seconds from where this happened...so it did directly put a potential threat  my families safety among others.
