this has nothing to do with anything currently on the forum but i think it is a neat idea that can prevent needless fires in businesses that use torches in the course of their operations .

IMHO rookies with torches are one of the main causes of fires in shops that use torches .

       it can also be used by plumbers in tight places when they need to sweat copper pipes . since there is no flame there is no danger of lighting up the whatever in close proximity to the work area.
